同当地经济同步发展?
河南商报：
我们在建航空港时，无法预知未来几年的发展情况，有时会出现航空港设施滞后于当地经济发展的情况，应该怎样避免这种情况的出现?
约翰·卡萨达：
建设航空港时，我们有必要做一个需求评估，以确保机场设施和空中交通、市场增长同步。如果它们不同步，那么机场就会出现容量问题(设施过多或过少)。当然，像中国这样发展快速的国家，以及发展迅速的河南地区，就面临着预测是否准确的挑战。
Henan Business Daily：
We cannot predict the future when we are constructing an airport，which may lead to the facility of airport lags behind local economics. What should we do to avoid this situation?
Dr. John Kasarda：
Demand assessment is critical when constructing aviation infrastructure to insure it is synchronized with both demand for air service and market growth. If they are not synchronized then capacity problems (too much or too little aviation infrastructure given demand) will result in capacity problems. Of course，in a fast growing nation like China and its fast growing areas such as Henan Province，making accurate forecasts challenging.
